Never tow a skier at night. It is both hazardous and illegal.




Not Illegal in North Carolina! @ least that is what I hear! Man that would be awesome getting a set or two of tower lights and hit the water @ night! That would be awesome!!!!! I am sure with the light that is being put out it can't be THAT dangerous! Now granted the danger level does move from yellow--> orange!!!!! But I think it would be cool!

Question is: How many states DO allow you to ride @ night???????? Also as far as I know NC will also allow you to go out without a spotter! Anyone know this to be 100% true?

In NC, you can not board, ski, tube, surf, etc 1 hour before sunrise or 1 hour after sunset.


You are allowed to pull a boarder, skier, tube, surfer, etc with a spotter (12yr or older) or a mirror (cant remember the size). need 1 or the other.

Tower lights, and docking lights, are also illegal because they over power the white 360* light.
