It's not that I don't believe you, I am just trying to exhaust all my options here. My dad is pretty adamant about not wanting a sac in the walkway, but if that is what we have to do, I have no problem with it. We don't want to do lead, because of the gas and towing implications, so that is out of the question.
Sorry if I pissed you off with that, but I am just being thorough before I drop about 500 bucks on a ballast setup.
You forgot to add the labor and equipment costs. Most shops are at about $90.00 per hour or more. Something to consider unless you have alot of time and are as anal as the MC guy-who did a great job.
No problem, you didn't piss me off. I think you just brought back all my frustrations with that boat and how to weight the darn thing.
If you don't want to use lead, I would put 2 sacs under the front seats, get small tube sacs- the fly high pro x side sac set would work and it would save you about $50 bucks rather than the integrated bow sac. Then I would buy the V-drive sacs and replace the rear hard tanks. That would work because you can still use the front factory ballast. Then maybe buy 1 fat brick to move around to balance out the weight.
If you need any help with the install give me a shout.
I'd love to come in at 5 bills, but i think a DIY install will still be around $750 to $1k
