Vinyl manufacturer

I need to replace one of the vinyl panels on the engine cover. Anyone know the manufacturer of the vinyl for 2005?

Kind of soon for an 05. Did it wear out or crack? Doesn't tige carry spare vinyl?

Boat only has 32 hrs. Evidently the previous owner placed a leaking gas can on the vinyl and now the vinyl is "melted" in this area. One of those things you just can't overlook.

you schould be able to go to you local vinyl shop and the could match it pretty close or change all 3 panels color if you have a V

I agree with you. Try to get a hold of Tige and have them give you the manufacturer,, type, code etc for your color of vinyl. Please let the rest of us know whos the supplier of the material. Some of us may want to order some spare material for the future.

With sun fading in other areas it may be hard to match perfectly, your dealer should be able to hook you up with all the info needed, may be cheaper to order a whole new panel, thats what I did for my bow cushion.

Thanks Lee, thats the answer I was hoping for or the actual manufacturer of the vinyl. One of the local shops here did a great job on our 2300V matching the vinyl, but it didn't have the pattern or texture the 24V has.

I just went thru the dealer for some warranty vinyl. Tige sent replacement skins for 7 seats for my 04. I am sure a dealer could get you exactly what you need thru Tige.

Sounds like thats my best bet, however, a local shop has requested samples to try and match ours. Should be here next week. He said the Tige vinyl is a standard marine but he didn't have a sample book. We shall see.

Contact your dealer and we can build you a new skin or send the bulk material either way your dealer is the best person to contact.
