That's cool!!!!! I am thinking of trying for a TMTIGE plate for my truck!!! I think that would look cool and since there aren't a WHOLE crapload of TIGE's in PA I should be good! Thanks for posting this.......b/c now I am going to go to our DOT page and check and see if it's taken!

Imho, the best ones are the plates that you have to read a couple times before you get them. Pretty much only Towboat people would get CNVX V, which I like too.

Most people don't know the significance of the Blue plates. I still don't understand why the Blue plates were allowed to stay when the Silver plates were introduced and when the Sunset plate was released all the Silver plates were banned. A lot of oldtimers are pretty POd that the Blue plates are being offered for anything other then replacement of unreadable plates.

I say bring back the SILVER.

I was riding in a friends car one day and this oldtimer, original blue plates and all, in front of him was put puttin' along, swervin', no signals, you name it. My friend finally loses his cool and shouts,"God damn blue plate M.F.er!" We laughed about that all day long.
