Plus, it is designed to "break away" (basically swing up) if something were to actually make it past the strut, shaft, prop and rudder.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I am working with Fresh Air Exhaust on another group buy. I will start a new thread when I get the details. In the meantime please PM with your interest. Most likely I will need 5 confirmed buyers.

          Thanks

I know this will open up a can o worms, but the FAE is one expensive muffler.

After reading the CDC/USCG report, I see no safe reduction in CO's except for those who ride on the swim platform at slow speeds.

The Gov. says that workers can be exposed to CO2 levels, for example, upto 35ppm for a day or a max of 200ppm in a 30 min period. At 10 feet behind the carburated Nautique w/o the FAE, the readings were 17ppm. They did drop with the FAE but levels increased the further back they were sampled.

They gave very little date on the 01 Fuel injected Tige. My guess is that the CO levels were to low w/o the FAE, that there was little reduction with it.

All right, I'm ready for the "stoning" i'm going to get know

I have one on my 2000 21v and i noticed a big difference. No more headaches after riding all day or the station wagon afect in the boat.

Its not just for wakesurfing. Even when idling the report states with or without the FAE the CO exceeded guidelines but were reduced with the FAE. No stones here though. People can read the report and draw there own conclusions.

For me less is better (CO that is)

CO not CO2 - Carbon monoxide not carbon dioxide. But who's counting the O's...

I know when we surf, it's there and the wife is worried about the kids-she really doesen't say much when I'm surfing.

$300 or so is not much when you compare it to the price tag of the boat or our well being or the wife complaining...

                        Priceless?

I noticed a huge difference. The rest of the crew did as well. One of the best things I've done to the Tige. I don't care what any report says, I know it works.

so it cuts down on the exaust like if your surfing?

Not just surfing, all the time...it doesn't reduce exhaust, to the best of my knowledge just redirects it.....is that correct XP?

I am not the scientist here. All I know is that it puts your exhaust outlet further down into the water. Lowers CO emisions in most cases and as a side benefit reduces noise in your boat. So yes Sparky216 you are correct.
