I won't purchase another inboard without some sort of FAE, and the price tag is easier for me to swallow than a $300 piece of bow carpet or a $5000 tower...

They are some nicely machined pieces. I would think that down tube would be worth at least $100. It's definately a custom piece. As someone who is in custom manufacturing, $400 ain't sh*t. When you add up the material cost, there really aint much left for labor. Whatever, I've already got one.

Sound and Exhaust fumes are dramatically reduced when installed

Looks like it hangs down lower than the taps--does this creat a difference in performance of the Taps?
