I would like to thank the academy and the hosts of Tige Owners.com and for T*, which without, this award would not be possible......
Evil One, let me know how big of a piece you need for your glove box, I am confident I will have enough left over for it. -- just pay for the shipping.
Was anybody successful in finding an actual manufacturer? I wanted to contact them about the possibility of other colors. I have a friend that owns an industrial supply company and might ask him to have his buyers try to find it. I'll let you-all know what I find.
how long is gator grip expected to last and do they have a website
I don't think Gator Grip has made any claims on how long it will hold up, but I used it on my last boat and saw no wear (boat was garaged) after 6 seasons.
Just a few pics of my install. I had a few dings, scratches and scuffs from boards along the transom. The imperfections don't show so well in the pics, but they bugged me. So this was a great solution.
The stuff they used on my boat must have been the 2003 stuff...
Actually, the environmental elements have gotten to mine and a winter project is in order. That rubber stuff that Tige uses isn't meant to last as long as we all would like though.
Maybe some day Tige will make a swimstep that will last.........
Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein
I did the same thing on our transom as Original did with th GG and when the Tigé stuff starts to wear, which it is a little I planned on doing the same exact thing on my 22i steps.
