    we need ballast for a '00 21i

we need ballast for a '00 21i shown in "avatar" and home page but dont know what to go with

maybe do like a locker sac then the bow sacs
    -or-
like some fat sacs for each side of the motor and then the bow sacs
    -or-
combine those:bow sac, side sacs, and the locker sack nah that would most likely exceed the weight limit
any thoughts, ideas, websites, links, pics
    HELP

Here are a couple of threads that I found. A lot of good thaughts, ideas, and opinions from other Tige owners, many with i's like the one you ride.

To sum up, the popular consensus is a 50/50 split of weight front to back for w/boarding. (more in rear corner for surfing). depending on the budget, you can go with a couple of sacks that are moveable (no plumbing or elec, you just drop the hose overboard and plug the pump in the cig) all the way up to custom fit saks in the front and rear compartments w/all the plumbing and electrical permanently installed. Lead seems to be a cheap and easy way to add some movable weight for fine tuning of the wake.

Get a couple of locker sacks. Put one in the trunk and one in the walk way. For surfing, just pile evrybody in the back corner on the side you want to surf. Be sure to watch the nose with that sack in the walk way though. Even just coming off of plane it becomes really easy to stuff the bow.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

              Get two of these.http://www.wakeside.com/page/w/PROD/..._tube_sac_W704

Yeak, I've stuffed it on more than one occation. You definately need to be up on your driving skills when driving a Droop Snoot Tige with ballast.

Speaking of skills, what is up with your grammer? Did they stop teaching English in your neck of the woods? Come on man. I lost my Little Orphan Annie decoder ring years ago. Help us help you.

My first Tige was an '01 21i. I bought two 500# bags and tried them in different configurations. On each side of the engine was ok, but awkward to walk over. Most of the time we put one in front of the pylon and the other centered behind the engine- or if we had the bench reversed, then between the seat and storage. You do have to be careful about too much weight up front. It helped the wake, but the nose dips too easy. I also didn't fill them to capacity- maybe around 400# each. Everyone said the wake was deceptive. It didn't look that big but was vertical and solid. You got a lot stronger boot up than you expected. The wake would alsotend to wash a little at the top but it was still very solid.

I've always been curious about how the reversible benches work.

It worked, but was a little bit of a hassle to change. The seat bottom was turned around and set on two chrome "L" brackets that just rested on the floor. The bench back which normally set into recesses against the storage locker, hooked onto the two brackets. Don't know if that makes any sense, but once up it was great. It was full width and you had the back support too. Only disadvantage was you had to step over the seat back to get over or around it.

Do you have a cover for your boat?

Sorry Paublo, I was asking wannabe if he had a cover to protect the inside of his boat from snow, etc.
