I think it would be fair to say that the RZ4 is going to be 4-6K more than the RZ2. That is what my dealer told me.

Can anyone substantiate the 60K nicely loaded RZ2 at the Portland show? I would like to hear another source on that. Did it include a trailer? That seems like a pretty good deal, one I would not expect to be widely advertised at the boat show. Maybe you could negotiate that yourself, but it would surprise me, just based on what I perceive as simple supply and demand issues.

It is true what Jilly said about the $60,000 price for the nicely loaded RZ2,s.
One was 60 and change and the other was 62 and change.
They both had the new Samson towers, the 62 one had factory ballast but I am not sure if the other one had ballast.
Stayton Motorsports really have good prices on all their boats.

No need unless you have a family of 7 and invite another family to go with you (which we do quite often). I agree about the X-80, for watersports, a double engine, 28 footer seems large for quick outings, but for Lake Powell or Lake Mead, it would be a great boat. I think that there is a link between age and the size of the boat. When I was younger I thought that 21 feet was too big. You get older, your family gets bigger and you get bigger and suddenly a big boat doesn't seem so bad...

yea, i thought or 19 ft ski boat was big until i started hanging out on my buddy's 21i the i realized how little our boat really is

Went to the Los Angeles Boat Show last week. Tige Watgersports said they ordered the RZ4,,,did not know an ETA and suggested the price would probably be 5-10K over the RZ2. I would imagine that price would double by the conclusion of the purchase as dealers tend to be a bit optimistic...
