Remember, in the desert, it's a dry heat. Last summer the lake temp was 93 and air was 117 at 7:00 PM. No place to hide...but it's a dry heat.
Lake Hartwell on the SC GA line gets that way in Aug. Blah we see hi 90's and humidaty above 90% and it's as bad as 120 w/dry heat.

I wouldn't give up the desert life. I really enjoy the heat (sun) and only erect the top for the wife. When the temp is above 100, even 93 degree water feels good.
All of our time is spent at Roosevelt Lake near Globe AZ. Roosevelt is the largest and highest of a 4 lake chain. We start boarding in April and stop usually in October when dune season starts.
Your lucky, around here you break a sweat just thinking

You get up to 150 in St. Louis I guess global warming is happening more there than anywhere else
I dont know anything about temp up 150 but those guys on tv that claim they can "predict weather", i think they call themsleves weathermen? Well any way they say St Louis is going to have one of the hottest summers ever. But then again they said we were going to have a harsh winter and we had one big snow and ice knocked the power out for a while and tree damage.. the whole 9 yards. But its been 40s 50s last week or two.

We are in the 20's and 30s for the high and single digits for the low right now, but I was just in NY last week and it was in the 50s...weird winter.
Here is how I tested out the sound on my 485s until the weather gets better. I used a home stereo amp in my basement. It's amazing that when you are standing right above them they are fairly quiet and they get louder as you walk further away from the speaker because of the directional horns.
Uhm, I just noticed this. Moki, in that first pic, I see something that looks distinctly like INSTRUCTIONS.
Were your using instructions...and are you prepared to hand in you Man card if found guilty of the violation???
