I just know that I could not buy my own house now the way the market has been the last few years. I was born here and raised here same with the wife. I don't see myself leaving anytime soon, unless my wife's job takes us elsewhere. I love the fact that I can surf in the morning (at the beach) and ski in the afternoon if I wanted to (not that I want to try to do it in the CA traffic )

I live in Manteca, bought out here 2 years ago for $335,000, just had the house appraised (refi) for $510,000 So ya it's expensive but you gotta spend money to make money.....now if I just had some money to spend....LOL

i hate the gov here in cali, they are terrible IMO Hate how they bend you over everychance you get. I can say that when I get the opp. too move, I"m out of this state. I really don't like it at all, and making money here, well, for me it's worse then where I was, after you pay it all, so I pretty much think I"m out once I can leave.

I'd love to get out of here, but I think I'm stuck....its like-you gotta make big money to live here, but then you buy toys so you're broke anyway-then if you sell your house and move away; probably to a lesser paying job in another part of the country, you can't keep all your toys...it's a horrible cycle...

We're working on getting outta here. Managed to pay off all the bills pretty much. The blasted real estate market dumps of course but no worries as it'll come back up eventually.

we got an apartment for rent like 5 mins form the mississippi and like 35 mins from the harbour with is about 2 mins from a great ski slough!

No she got my house (hence the trailer). Until she gets remarried, the house is still in my name and while it's still in my name the bank has a problem with me getting another house (funny ol' world).
