Why do inboards have guide rails unlike most other boats?

they will help save you from buying a new tracking fin or prop/prop shaft, strut etc like if its windy or the rollers are comming in
they work on i/o and out boards too and help like if you new to trailering or just to save you some time

They are alot harder to turn and navigate at lower speeds, which if you are loading correctly you are going pretty slow. Especially going backward. And what he said.

Probably because they don't steer worht a hoot at slow speeds?

Usually we drift on at less than idle speed. Then once were settled and straight ram it up to that little orange yellow things that scuffs up the bow, and winch the last couple inches.

Both, the boat ramp where that I drop at on Greers Ferry has 4 lanes on it. So if there are 4 people loading at the same time, I will walk it. If I'm alone I will drive up. I feel like it's safer walking it and I don't look like a retard if I mess up driving on.

Thanks for all the input. Looks like this is not a wide spread problem, but not unheard of either.

She is going to see a new dealer at the end of the month to have this and some other things taken care of.

Just a couple minor things: small hole in vinyl, boardrack bungies, raw waterpunp leaking, Throttle by wire glitch.

The dealer that I bought from is no longer rep'ing Tiges (not by thier choice)

Well, after 2 months at Gunnell's Marine in Greenwood SC, My Tige is looking better than ever. I had a whole punch list of stuff, but here is what they did to fix the trailer guide issue.

They replaced the trailer guides. Dorsey sent a new pair of poles with PVC's and covers. Dorsey put a little bend in the poles right above the mounts so it widened the opening to allow the boat more room the "nest" in the bunks.

Gunnells replaced the graphics because they were so chewed up. A big thank to Tige, Andrew, and Randy for covering those under warrenty (Dorsey declined to participate)

Did some gel-coat repair due to the chewed up guides.

I ground down the rubrail screw heads.

After unloading and loading the boat yesterday, I think this has solved the problem.

Once again, I want to thank Gwen and Barney Gunnell, JJ, Andrew, Tige, and my rep Randy.

I am glad to hear that they took care of you. Did you get your pads replaced? If not, I just purchased some off off TigeDuners thread.
