    Portland Boat Show

Well I went today and it was a good one to check out.

Highlights were the board racks on the new Mastercrafts, no bungies and they swivel 180 degrees boy would I like to have them on my 22V.
Those of you that are interested in ordering the RZ2 should look into the new Samson Tower for it, that is one sharp looking unit and the tubing is 3" in diameter.
I talked to a nice dude from corporate headquarters and he told me they had the mold for the RZ4 and production should be ready by Feb or Mar this year.
The RZ4 will have the same hull as the 24Ve just like the RZ2 has with the 22Ve.

Lowlights were the new MB picklefork, man that has gotta be the ugliest boat around, and the price tag was $64,000. Prices are definately up this year and I am glad to have our boat and not be in the buying mode.

    Long live the V.

I need the space and the factory ballasts are worth there weight in gold. 59k for everything, at the rate prices are going up and if I can get 45-46k for my 22v then now is the time. Tige is giving a 3k rebate for the boat show plus dealer is giving almost 5k boat show rebate. It's not a done deal yet, but even if I lose a few thousand on the trade, I'll still go for it. I'm pretty stoked, even though this is VERY unexpected......now I need a new truck...whew

Congratulations! Sounds like it's the right time.

What is the ETA for the new boat?

            March?

              Sparky,

Nice looking Ve. Can it fit in the garage?

Don't forget about the camper also. If you are getting a heavy duty I would go for a 1 ton. Only about a $1000 difference and so much more payload.
The Ford single rear wheel 350 has a 4100 lb. payload.

We love our F350, and the camper is awesome. We went to Mt Bachelor last weekend with it and are going to Shasta in late June with everything in tow.

Yea it will fit, my buddy has a 80x80 heated shop that we store it in the winter while he is in Palm Springs with his RV. I dont have a camper, and need the SUV...ie Yukon XL or Excursion.

Don't know, if all works out then Feb/March sounds about right. Could prob take delivery asap but no rush since there is no boating around here untill april.

                    Carter,
Are you sure it is this spring....my understanding was that they wouldn't be ready untill later this summer...ie July, Aug timeframe. If it will be that soon, then maybe I will hold off and get the RZ4....

                      Sparky,

I didn't figure you had a camper I just figured if you were getting a new truck then you might go down the same road and get a camper. But I understand needing the kiddie hauler.

At least you can say you once owned a V.

LOL.....yea need the kiddie hauler....at least mine isn't a Dodge Caravan...I'd love to have the F350 or 3500Duramax, but money and necessity determine that I will be driving a Tahoe/Suburban type for a while.
