This is our second year of ownership of our 2003 21i Type R. So far we have replaced a bilge pump, starter, perfect pass servo motor, steering cables, transom carpet, battery, impeller ( no big deal ), and added an amp cooling fan. Thats about 8 things in 2 years. What have you guys replaced on your boats?

I replace the impellar once a year wether it needs it or not along with the fuel filter. Replaced the evil Metcraft tower. Prop. Leaky Taps ram.
Basically nothing. The boat has been bullet proof, so far as boats go that is. I've had it for 5 years now. That's a pretty badass service record. The Taps ram was the only thing that really "broke" and it was just leaking (bad O-ring). Bennett replaced it free of charge even though I was two months past warranty. Tower was an upgrade as it hadn't broken yet, although I'm sure it would have. Prop was an upgrade as well. Everything else has been regular maintenence. I've only been stranded once and that was my own fault for surfing with only a few gallons of fuel left. Basically ran it dry and sucked up some tank shmag and clogged the filter. Replaced that and was back in business.Last edited by NICKYPOO; 01-05-2007, 07:13 PM.You'll get your chance, smart guy.

new upholstery on an '05? can you elaborate? I thought they fixed the upholstery on the '05s and later. From what I understand, the '07s use the same material that malibu uses.
For what its worth- the new towers and interiors will probably be the deciding factor in getting a new boat this year...along with more power, better factory stereo options, and a decent internal ballast. Probably going to end up getting a 24ve or an X-star- not sure yet. I kinda like the new SAN 210 too, although its a bit small for my taste.Freude am Fahren.

I was wondering when you where going to chime in Moki, you have done a lot to your boat in the short amount of time that you have had it.
For me so far its only been one tower speaker.
I am Looking to add some Wetsounds this summer. I just need to figure out a good way of painting the speaker cans since black or white wont work on my boat.
