I would love for Tige to bring out a RZi boat. The private lake where we live only allows DD boats 21ft. and under. So we got the 21i/Switchi/20i in there and that is it. Alot of the people in there complain about us already! I couldn't imagine rolling in there with a 24Ve!!!!!!

I will just keep my fingers crossed that "IF/WHEN" Tige brings out an RZi it is 21ft. b/c I promise they will make our local dealer alot of money!!!!!

would be nice if it's a 21, but i would think it would be a tad bigger, like the 22 series. who knows.

95k bonus.....what's the base though? I wouldn't want my income based on sales. I want a place in the hills outside Arroyo Grande real close to Lopez Lake. I have ~3 acres there I can build on. It's funny.....my last cost of living comparison I would have to make something like 280k a year to have the same income level. The cost of living was only 2% or so higher, but the housing was astronomical. My house would sell for about $110 a sqaure. I'm figuring on building for around $300k, so 95k bonus puts me in about the same mortgage bracket as I'm in now. My wife teaches so that's an instant doubling of her salary. Louisiana is pretty poor when it comes to paying teachers.

I have a BFA concentrating in 3D animation and CG, worked that for a few years then got back into programming in conjunction with the 3D, CAD and crap. I'm a 0 and 1s guy now; hardware to software. So I guess job experience and referrals are going to be worth more than the degree. I run a simulation program for an offshore transportation industry right now. If it breaks I have to fix it. Lots of fun. i have some crappy pics and video I shot with my Treo.

This is something I had written before.

Hard question to answer b/c base is tied to experience, prob 95-115 then add ot, I make about 30% of my income on travel and OT. I'm telling you though it still isn't enough. We'd have to make probably close to 400k to live like we do now in Oregon. For me to buy a house like mine in SF. 1yr old 2800 sq/ft 3 car garage would be prob close to 1.2 mil, plus my property tax bill would be 4x greater. Not worth it.....not at all.

                Sorry for the Hijack Nick

                      Wow. California pricing is insane.

flackpack moved from SoCal to my neck of the woods about a year ago, Im sure he could attest to the price differences.

Oh ya...RZi...who knows...only time will tell.

                        Matt,
It's more than insane, it's a curse. There is one place in Cali that my wife and I would love to move back to and that is San Diego. We loved it there and still have friends that live there. These ppl bought in the mid 90's, regular ppl, teachers, engineers....etc etc. Well when they bought there houses, it was like 250k. Expensive, yes but affordable. Now they have kids and want a bigger house, well they have tons of equity and can afford a mortgage of 1mil, cause of all the equity, but what they cannot afford is the property tax bill on a 1mil house. They are stuck, either remodel there existing home or move. Now the way the market is nothing is selling, I hate all this "equity boom", it's happening here and I'm worried sick.

i know too matt, i just moved from ok to ca, and it's simply STUPID!! I won't do it again I know that!! and the bad thing now is the housing market in Bakersfield sucks, well for sellers. There are over 1200 homes on the market, and they just approved a new housing edition for 6500 more homes. people start saving your money, cuz bako is going to have so much relestate going for next to nothing it's going to be sad, good thing my co makes sure I don't take a loss on my property
