Mine came from boat trader too. I bet the cosmetics on that boat are in really bad shape to have a price that low. Maybe recently wrecked...."new drive shaft, new shaft seal"

I found my boat on the San Francisco area Craigslist. Sitting in the station late one Wednesday night and happened across the ad just a few minutes after it was posted. Called the guy Thursday, went out to see and drive it Friday and bought it right there and then. I was surprised the deal went so quickly and so smoothly.

Man you guys are a hard sell. I guess I am some sorta freak when it comes to selling a boat. I was very up front and let guys know the down falls of my jet I sold and I end up selling it for less than I wanted to get for it, but I guess I couldn't sleep at night if I was screwing some guy over. It must be the damn teacher in me coming out. Too bad there are so many shady guys out there.

if i'm selling to someone I don't know, hey, each to his own, but someone I do know, gotta be different. I tell everything I know about what I'm selling to anyone I sell it to. If I know them I'm going to cut them a deal, if not, well I'll try and get what I want.

There is a differance between lying and not disclosing info. If it's a private party sale, and the buyer had the oportunity to look at, drive, ask ?'s, than it's BUYER BEWARE.

I agree. I tell everything I know. Have had great luck with all but one car, and for some reason it died on him 8 hours down the road. He got really mad, but wouldnt tell me what was wrong. I think he was trying to scam me.

I found mine on craigslist/sacramento and just happened to be the first guy that called him. He was straight forward and held it on a "first called" basis. Unfortunately for me he wasn't a mechanical type so i had a bit of work to do but for the price i paid...sheeeet!
