MC is offering a VW Marine diesel in the ProStar 197 in England. Supposedly it is a little more efficient, but a lot quieter and torquier.

Those Steyr engines are pretty bad @$$, check out the hydrolift boats they currently use them in.

You have to remember every boat company had a price hike for 07 that being said the tige boats are still considerably less then the other brands. Mooba boats are a lot less but they are a lot less boat also, there counter part Supras are equal to or in alot of cases higher than tige.
