Aren't "Dance Pole's" optional equipment. If not they need to be!

I wish I had an extension for my pylon, then we would have a dance pole. Maybe I should just carry a longer one in the boat and push it into the sand

Thought I would chime in here since I invented and patented the Skireel WakePro. Being a bit biased, I love my Skireel!!!! Just to clarify, it is not a rope winder. The main feature of the Skireel is to reel the rider IN or OUT as the boat tows them. This adjusts the line to ANY length allowing you to ride at 71 or 83 or 67 or 92 feet. The point is that all ropes on the market lock you in at 5 foot increments unless you take it upon yourself to start and stop one zillion times to tie the rope off at your PERFECT length. Then a buddy jumps off your boat with his beer cooler and your wake changes because you lost weight.

Is it a luxury accessory? Of course and it does not sell for $700, it starts at $1000 and goes up to more than $1700 depending on options. Our average sale price is about $1200 to $1400. All Skireels are custom made for each customer to fit his/her boat and tower. Look, wakeboard boats are loaded with accessories that cost a lot and have little utility. Have you priced speakers out? $1500 for a pair of Skylons? Light bars? When has anyone actually used one? You can’t even see behind the boat with these lights? Granted, both look good and add to the BLING factor of the boat. That's why they sell.

The Skireel does something that no other product does. Some people think it looks ugly some love it. Tiges average $40K to $80 retail. If another $1000 breaks you, well it's not for you. We are pleased with our business and have 90% plus customer satisfaction. Don't knock it till you try it.

          Eddie (Skireel),
Way to be innovative and also way to go in making a living at something you love. Maybe you will be having the last laugh when it becomes a standard feature on all Tiges and other boats. Thanks for taking the time to explain the real purpose of a Skireel to us.

              Eddie,

I for one really like your product. My dealer did not mention this to me when I bought my boat, if he would have I would most likely would have had it added...

Do you have more pictures of the product?
              -Mounted on different towers
              - what the remote looks like

I have a 2007 22VE with the Sampson tower, are you familar with this tower and do you have any pictures of it on those towers.

I would even like to see a movie of it in action.

If some users are game, I would like to add this product to the lsit of group buys.

              Merry Christmas.

I think I will continue to manually do my rope at that price?

That's a years worth of fuel for our 22V.

I love to read about people's success story's. I wish my ideas could become real. I only get a small amount every year to upgrade my boat and the tower was this summer so maybe you will be this year. I just remembered I need perfect pass first. Mabye '08?

We understand that the Skireel is not a product for the masses. It's custom made and expensive but so are most Harleys or Ferraris. I do however appreciate the thumbs up from the rest of you and hope that it is a product on your radar screen. Almost all customers have told us that they use it on every session and will buy another Skireel when they order a new boat.

There are pictures on www.skireel.com that show installs on Monster Tower, Tige S and Z series, Skylon, and Malibu Illusion. There is also a picture of the wireless remote control. The tethered remote is the exact same but with the coiled wire and both float and are waterproof. We offer matching clamps from Skylon, WakeDesigns, Boss, Lucky Devil etc. so that your speakers and lightbars will match up with the Skireel. We have installed the Skireel on most all boats and tower brands over the years.

We are showcasing the Skireel on the RZ2 at the Houston Boat Show from January 4-15, 2007.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Skireel.
