wakeboard rope winder

I was looking at a web page www.wakeside.com and saw a wakeboard rope wider it looks cool but i dont now about $695.00 for less than minute to pull your ropr in. Does anybody have one on there Tige would like to see and would like your feed back thanks. Larry 22ve

I think they are a waste of money and they look like crap. I would rather spend $700 on a better handle, board, bindings, rope, vest, good looking girl friend (wait I am married that won't work). To each their own, but I know I will not have one in the near furture.

I did the mission 2 ride a few years back and they had one on that boat.
It was cool, but not worth 7bills for me. I think it owuld have more of a school/instructional use w/ a bunch of different people all the time and a bunch of different riders.

what's the point of an auto winder? Don't get that one. Its not hard to wind up a rope as it is.

I gotta ask one word ... WHY? That's one of those gadgets that falls into the "I gotta have the latest thing before the next guy" category or the "I'm too lazy to pull the rope in" category. Pretty soon there will be so much stuff on the towers the boat will just roll over
