    Drain plug

Hello all. New to the forum. Have a 2018 R23. My dealer is 6 hours away so I had a reputable MC dealer near me do winterization. The transom bilge plug was already taken out and in compartment. When I pulled it out, I noticed another bilge plug in a bag attached to steering wheel. I can’t locate another bilge plug to save my life and from what I’ve read it only has one. Any clue where this would’ve came from? The dealer doesn’t know as the guy who did it doesn’t work there anymore and he’s not familiar with Tige. It’s a standard brass plug size with female square slot to tighten/loosen. Thanks!

Sounds like an exhaust drain plug.

I’m not certain but don’t think so. It has the Indmar Raptor 400 that has the 5 blue drain plugs.

Maybe time to fire the beast up and look for running water in the bilge?

Assuming the boat doesn't have a centre drain plug as it's not standard on tiges. If you cant find it, I would take mikes advice and watch the engine closely. Could be as simple as somehow you had an extra plug left in the boat.

That's what it sounds like to me as well. Look on either side of the engine at the exhaust manifolds, towards the V-Drive transmission end, you'll find a brass fitting like you describe, i bet one side is out.

It all starts to blur together as Indmar has changed the Raptor bit by bit, but I believe in 18 they all got the xover hose that drains via blue plug. 19s is when they go to brass plugs because the fittings don't clear the subfloor liner. I could be wrong tho. Have been before and will be again

                    Drain plug

I have a 19 R23 with raptor 400. It has the crossover(shown in 2nd pic). Also note that the blue stickers say 1 of 5, 2 of 5 etc.... this means there’s 5 drain point 4 via blue wing nuts and 5th is the water impeller cover.
