2 weekends ago the touch screen stopped responding to the touch pad to the right. The touch screen was working just fine, however since I couldn't go back "Home" once I hit a screen on the touch screen I was stuck there unless I restarted the boat. Ordered a new touch pad from Tige and installed it only to find out that it didn't fix the problem. Needing new batteries anyway, I swapped batteries yesterday and still the same problem. However upon more digging what I found was that while the touch screen worked, nothing I turned on or off from the screen was actually working on the boat. This includes, ballast pumps, blower, lights, radio, etc... The touch screen would say the blower was on, but the blower is not running, and this was across the board with all boat components.
I went through all the fuses on the Medallion Power Module and all fuses are good. Took both covers off the power module so I could visually inspect, and nothing on the board looks obviously damaged. I have removed all plugs to check for corrosion and they all look clean. I calling Medallion tomorrow to see how I can work with them to troubleshoot this problem, but was hoping someone may have some advice to offer on what else to look at.
I saw in an older post about Medallion Power Module and Command(Viper) module problems where they were able to send the units back to Medallion for bench testing. Has anyone else done this with success? I highly doubt they are going to send me parts and let me find the faulty one and send the good parts back.
