If you have a Tower Mount Mirror Arm which one do you have and do you like it? I need to pick one up. I saw this on e-bay and it looks good for the price.
I have the same one as Jim. Most of the boats from Vegas have that one. I am very pleased with it, but it cost double what the one from ebay does. I have some tower clamps I bought from those same guys and they seem to do good work. I think the look is pretty nice too.
I've got the Tige tower so I guess mine is Tige. It is somewhat in the way of my foreward view (moving to other side to see if that is better) but the mirror has good visibility.

I have the one you are looking into on Ebay. It's a nice bracket. I figured for 25-30% of the price of a name brand arm, I could just give it away if I wasn't happy with it. So far so good.
You'll need some sort of bushing to go between the main mounting bracket and the tower. I just used a little strip of rubber about 1/16th of an inch thick x 1/2 inch wide. I had it left over from when I put up my tower speakers.

Good to know Lucky. I figured it was still cheaper than most but I didn't want it falling apart wishing I had spent my money on something else first.

Coach--I have the same one from Boss that you are looking at. It works like a champ, I used a peelable (if that's a word) aluminum shim that I got from work. The shim I used comes measured at 0.025 and then you can peel off what you need at 0.001 incriments.
DId you get it? Do you like it? I know my friend has one on his 24v, and it gets in my way of looking forward, but I think it could be moved up a bit to take care of that. It does offer a great view of the rear though! His is a tige mirror though.

I am going to order one. I have driven many different boats with the mirror and I have never had and issue with visiblity. There are enough other things in my view (tower, windshield). If I need to see something ahead I will just flip the mirror flat.

That's the only reason i haven't done it yet is the view. I have the blasted tower smack dab in my view to the right so i have a tendency to look over the windshield
