    Trailer Wheel LED lights

Hey guys, I hope you are all healthy and safe. On Corona Lock down, so Ive been tinkering in the garage, Ive been wanting to add some LED lights to the wheels for added effect. Here is the project I finished up today, I cant wait to get out on the water.

          Nice! A fellow light nerd.lol.

I added blue LED strips running both sides of the rails underneath on my trailer. Also, added blue strips to the under side of the running boards on the truck.

I have used some about the same size, that are RGB. Downside for a trailer, is it would require 4 conductor wire to each light and a controller.

You must have a switch to turn those off, can’t see the cops being very fond of them. Look great though! If you get bored you can come wire my boat up.

Yeah I’m guessing the cops would pull you over if you’re rolling down the highway like that? That looks cool! Green shouldn’t be a problem right?

They are wired in to my park lights so I can turn them on/off from the cab of my truck.

That being said I do roll with them on leaving the lake sometimes the whole way home or just in areas. 20 minute drive. Not to concerned as I find our police don't actively patrol the way I feel they do down in the US plus it's a bit more back road to and from the lake that I go too minus the 5 min jaunt on the freeway.
Bsreid: That would be Cultus to Whatcom Rd.

they do look nice. better than the landing lights that boatmate is putting on their trailers.

that said the blue here would be a prime reason for the popo to stop for illegal lights and check for alcohol/weed use and driving. most here would give a warning for the lights as long as driver is sober.

The boat mate landing lights are really nice for putting the boat on the trailer in the pitch black, you van actually see the trailer and line up. Just not as appealing to the eye.
