    Boat Cover

Due to the recent Tennessee tornado. I am in need of a new boat cover. Among many other things. But unless any of you are auto body specialists, siding, roofing, window or gutter installers...we'll just stick to the topic. 2007 tige 24ve. I have to source out a cover for the insurance company. The shredded one was the original Tige cover. I'm pretty sure I can't get them anymore. I know there is tons of cover sites out there, just hoping someone can help me narrow my site search a little with a good company. Any input would be much appreciated. FYI. Just in case any of you are wondering. That's not where I park my boat.

Westland cover from boat covers direct. Sunbrella material was the factory I think.

I would recommend either https://greatlakesboattop.com/ or https://commercialsewing.com/. Both of these companies have been OEM for Tige at differrent times. As a side note, you have to go through your local dealer for a Commercial Sewing cover. Sorry to hear you are having to face this unfortunate situation.

I purchased from here a few weeks ago for my 2005 22i. Fits around the tower and over the platform but I can't speak to the durability or trailering yet as it's still in the garage. I went sharkskin supreme as I don't trailer during the season and it's under a dock. If you are trailering and it's exposed you may want the thicker sunbrella. I ordered one from new york for my father in law 2 years ago off ebay and it is a way better cover but was also nearly $1000 vs $500. Just my $.02.

^^^ That’s what I went with. It’s only been on the boat a couple times. It does fit excellent though. Very happy with it. It’s very light, making it simple to carry down to the dock in case I need it.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Commercial Sewing made the original cover. Lee can get you one ordered if you want a factory unit.

I hope you and your family were safe during the tornado and I hope everything gets repaired quickly.
                Oh Yeah!

And wow, hope recovery comes soon.

I appreciate all of the input. My boat is pretty low on the priority list right now. Although that may be a sacrilegious statement on here. My home is still standing but has significant exterior damage. Now that my contractor has the reigns on my house, I can focus my attention on the boat maybe. I am extremely lucky. My house is just a couple of hundred feet from houses that are no longer there and only a couple of hundred yards from several deaths. Family is safe, that's the main thing. The rest is just stuff. Going through something like this definitely changes your perspective. Hopefully my boat guy gets everything fixed on my red and yellow beast. My kids are looking forward to summer and, after this, they need something positive to happen.

I live in Mount Juliet and have a lot of friends that were hit hard also. Not a good thing for sure.

I've always heard the phrase "survivors guilt" never really knew what it meant until last week. I will most likely come out of the other side of this in pretty good shape. New exterior on the house and at least right now, the boat looks repairable. Just to see the devastation that is all around me is pretty depressing. Many people around here didn't have homeowners insurance. It's gonna take a long time for this area to return to normal.
