2008 22VE GM 5.7 (marine power) engine serial number location - help

Hello to all. I am first time Tige boat owner (soon to be). First time poster. In the purchase process I need to take a picture of the engine block serial number. I cannot find it anywhere. I have literally crawled all over the engine bay and cannot find it. I can find the casting numbers, tranny serial number but no engine serial number plate.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Any pictures?

Hey man. I’m traveling this week but have the same motor. I’ll try to get you a picture this weekend. I’m pretty sure it’s under the plastic cowling on left front of motor looking down. I know I took a picture at some point.

I was thinking it was on the valve cover, port side. You can email justin at tige.com the hull id number and the original engine number can be looked up.
