I have far more projects for my E30 then the Tige this winter as well. Though I'll probably get lazy and wait for spring

Your box is full, but thanks for the information. Looks like your winter is off to a good start. Lucky.

Lifetime service? That’s a thing? Is it hacked or some kind of legit deal?

XM/Sirius offered lifetime subscriptions years ago and they are good for the life of the device. Once the device dies, so does the subscription. There is something about having the ability to transfer the lifetime to another radio but you would have had to buy it prior to the XM/Sirius merger in 2005. It's somewhat risky but I figure for $130 I'd give it a shot. I haven't looked into transferring the subscription to a newer device so I can't comment on that part of the deal.

Yah. I googled it after you posted this. Crazy! Let me know if they give you access to the original account - that would be the key to get it moved. I think you can move it 3 times right?

Good luck on that one. Not a bad deal!!

If you ever get the chance for a ride along in one, take it.
That is crazy that the winch is keeping you stuck to the slope, I certainly see its function. I would be nervous just watching from a distance on something that steep. Not much of an adrenaline junky I guess.

I'm just about through the list!
                    2015 ASR
Add 2nd pair of Rev 10's
Repair a couple chips in Gel Coat and the Cracked Cooler Lid
Remove AVX and Add GSA Surf plates. (trying this out before doing the hull Mod)
                    Repair Bimini from rope burn
I might add rear ballast bags too.

I'm not positive, but I think adding tabs without doing the mod will force the tabs to be mounted too far inboard. This will negatively effect the wave and probably give you a sour taste for tabs. I think all you need to know is that TAPS 3 works killer on the RZX line and GSA tabs work even better on them. I wouldn't waste any time/effort with trying stuff out. Do the mod first and then install tabs. Your 2015 should have TAPS 3 control already installed so all you will need is the tabs and actuators. Not the whole GSA system so you will save money there. You may even be able to use the actuators from the AVX if they are the right length.

I struggle with the $10-12,000 Hull Mod and another $2000 to get it delivered. (thats a lot into a 75k boat) At 14k i'd rather just upgrade to a RZX.

I can get the GSA surf plate for under 2k and have them programmed into the factory computer. I figure its worth a shot.

I would seriously consider putting the money towards a new boat, I don't think it's worth the risk. By the time you pay lets say 15k onto of your ASR value you are getting into RZX and RZX2 pricing. Lets say you go and sell the ASR the 15k added onto it isn't going to add 15k onto the selling price either.
I see you are in Alberta, Seca has a 17 rzx2 for low 130s, Ive got a 2016 rzx3 for similar price too.

That's my thought. Its 2k(ish) to try the GSA plates out and have them on my Factory screen. Its worth a shot.
I know people like to hate on the ASR but it does surf. I do like the boat. I bought it for the size and I couldn't afford/justify a 2016 RZX when I purchased my ASR in 2017.

I would defiantly give it a try, if it doesn't work you're only out the install cost/time.

Winter project so far is not boat related. Took the old front door off of a house we are remodeling and decided we o make a desk out of it. Made the base out of 2”square tubing, added a 1” angle iron tray to insert the MDF base attached to the underside of door, added mitered trim, sanded edge of old door, added ebony gloss stain. Waiting on glass to be cut for top...and the house to be finished
