Suggestions on how to cut the dash

Hello all, I am installing a different stereo remote on my dash and the hole needs to be bigger to allow the new unit to fit. What is the best way to cut it?

What I have done in similar situations is use another board behind the hole you want to enlarge. Drill into the board to help guide the hole saw.

They have an electric one as well. Works great, just does not last under heavy use.

I'm all about the air saws too. I keep a couple in my box. Small ones for tight spaces and big ones for extended use on bigger material. Only downside is you have to make sure to use the right blades for the application/material.

Thanks all! I'll look at the hole saw first. Don't have a compressor yet.

A small router works well as well. Bosch Colt or similar
