    Stereo Installed

    I picked up my boat yesterday from Wired for Sound in Murietta. They did a great job and I am very happy with the results. The system is pushing 3200 RMS which ended up being more than I was planning on running but a shortage of amps forced them to upgrade me for no cost. If you are thinking about tower speakers I can't say enough about the wetsounds. The are soooo freeeeakin loud it!!! The cool thing is I faded the cabin way down and put the wetsound up and cranked it and there was very little spill over into the boat. The sound really traveled away from the boat and we could still talk in the boat.

    Here are the final specs for the system

    Alpine 9857 Head Unit with I-Pod Controler
    3- Odessey 2150 Batteries
    XANTREX On board Truecharge 20 Amp
    6- Kicker RS 6.5 Components
    1- Kicker L5 15"
    Kicker ZX 1500.1 for the Sub
    Kicker ZX 850.4 for the Cabin
    Kicker ZX 850.4 for the Tower
    Wetsounds Threesome on the tower
    Remote Access Sony wired Remote
    I- Rock wireless remote

          That is one awesome system!!!

          Are your batteries hooked up to your alternator at all or do you just re-charge everytime?

          Better upgrade your insurance policy on that boat

                Lucky for me my Insurance guy live down the street- one problem he is a MC owner!

                      The batteries weight about as much as I do, so to balance the boat out it with me in it it works. Plus I can have my wife drive (all 100 lbs of her) and I can sit in the back corner to Pump up that surf wake.

                        It is on the Alternator as well. That way I can get some extra help while I am on the water. I will plug in at night to charge it back up. We put the on board charging plug inside the side wall of one of the rear storage areas (transom activity center) That way I can just lift up the one small hatch and pulg in.

                            Awesome Coach! I was under the impression those CPS remotes were for Sony stereos, how'd they wire it into the Alpine?
