Looking to order a boat for the 2020 season. Looking for primary a surf boat and looking at the R23 and possibly 22 RZX. Will one create a surf wake than another?? Anyone know aprox price of the 22 RZX? Any other thoughts or things to consider on these boats?

The 22 RZX will create a bigger surf wave. It weights 5600 dry vs the 4800 for the R23. The 22 RZX also comes with 3800 lbs ballast stock vs the R23s 3000lbs ballast. It displaces a lot more water. Both the R23 and the 22 RZX can be optioned up or down depending on the price point you need to hit. You could have a $20-30K price swing depending on how you option it.

Personally I would go RZX2 just because it's a much deeper boat but either one will produce a good wave, especially with the new 2020 surf tabs.My guess is the rzx2 will be slightly better stock. Regarding pricing it is hard to say, so many variables with options and specific dealer discounts.
