Speed Set not working... possibly the controller?

Will the new one let you set the speed once your at that speed using the middle button? My does not do that and it’s starting to have issues so I may need a new one before it goes bad. Does it fit in same space and is it just plug and play or more to it?

Yes, the center button works exactly like it was supposed to. Get to speed, press the button to hold that speed, and use the Slower/Faster buttons to adjust the set speed in small increments.

You reuse your existing silver bezel and black rubber elastometer button pad so the finished install looks 100% factory because it IS 100% factory. We replace the electronics package behind the rubber buttons. It fits in the same space, uses the same mounting holes, even reuses the same washers and nuts to secure it to the dash. It's as factory as we could make it.

The factory electronics has a 12 pin connector that mates with a connector on the boat's wiring harness. Our upgraded panel has the exact same connector. It is totally plug-and-play.

Once you have your original panel out, swapping in our new electronics package takes about five minutes. Reinstall and you're back on the water.

I have a 06 22VE.. just had the engine replaced and the speedset isn't working. When I push the middle button, the motor pulses - but the cruise isn't engaging.
is there a diagnostic to tell what is wrong or is the pad generally always the issue?

Not sure what "the motor pulses" means, haven't heard that symptom before. Since they just touched EVERYTHING when replacing the engine, I'd suspect something other than the touchpad... especially if your cruise control was working before the engine swap.

Hello everyone,
I have a 2009 Tige24VE and when I try using speed control I can see the settings on the screen however when I press the buttons on the actual pad nothing happens? Not sure if I am pressing buttons correctly or if the unit is bad. Can you please guide me to the right direction? Thank you so much!
