I was trying to be a smart-a$$ and find a pic of a yacht covered in lights and came across that on the web! I can't imagine all the freakin' work that entails!

Tomarrow night is our local lake's 18th annual "Lights on the Lake" a parade of boats all decked out just like that one. We plan on launching and watch from the water but I will be in it next year

There's one of those every year out on the California Delta but I'm not attending that one. I won't boat on the delta in the daylight more less the night!

Like I said everybody uses the boat in a diffrent way, People with lake houses get in the boat go do a set and the come back to the lake house to party, We pack our cooler and we are gone all day and somtimes late late into the night. Some people go out all day and are not party people. They have family and kid's and they are more mellow. Mom shaking it from the tower is not gonna happen.
So I can see lots of people looking at a system like WTF do you need that for. Thats cool. To each his or her own.
Hey, I have a lakehouse and we still go out and party on the lake! We nevery really stray too far from the lakehouse and there's always a boat going back to restock and shuttle folks back and forth. The party only breaks up when the guy with the anchor has to leave.
A lot of big boats on the delta that are a real hazard for a short freeboard boat. Every year a few wakeboats are swamped and sunk out there. Not to mention a lot of water hazards as well. The water gets churned up pretty good as well. Some people love the delta, i don't so i stick to lakes.
