Boating with Mans Best Friend

my old room mates dog is that way. He will follow us around all day when we have beer in our hands. It's really funny!! My youngest one follows me around as well, and well sometimes he knocks them over. He is not as bad as my friends though, just too funny!

Took our new/used boat out for the first time last Friday and had our lab with us. We don't have a bimini and he kept wanting to crawl under the helm, but he had fun in the water and even swam out and fetched the ski handle all by himself. Yes there was lots of hair and I was very careful when he was getting in and out, scratched the teak platf. pretty good so have to figure out a way to get him on there easier. As long as it's just the family he will go.

This is Fergie

She just turned 4, loves the water. Jumps of the boat after her ball, ducks...you name it. When we are moving slow, she stands at the front of the boat, 2 front paws above the front seat like she owns the place.

I have 2 Lab's but they shed a lot and I worry their claws will damage the seats.

But we bring our little one and she loves the water.



I have better pics of her on the wake board I will have to find them.

My daughter loves to take the dog. I dont mind it now put once i get my new interior it may be a different story. The dog is 2yrs old a springer spaniel/jack russle mix so they tell me.

Here's our 2-1/2 year old lab, Dusty...

She always keeps an eye on the kids, especially our 8yr old son. She'll even bail off the dock if I'm driving by and she sees us.

Minus the whining on the drive to the lake, I wouldn't have it any other way. He loves to swim so much its cruel to leave him behind.
