I just went through testing a few props, so thought I would share the findings of my favorite. My boat is a 2007 RZ2@ with 340HP Marine Power Engine, I am running 3200#'s of ballast at 3500 ft elevation.
I tried an 1847, 1235, and 2315. The 2315 (15" diameter x 12 pitch) is by far the best setup for surfing with my combination. I was told the 340 hp engine may have trouble turning the 15" prop, but nope. I was also told clearance from Prop to Hull may be a problem, but have 5/8". Trailer clearance is good also. It all works well, and holds my surf speed of 12.4mph flawlessly. Keep in mind, this is only for the RZ2, other hulls may have different clearances, so check first. Happy Surf'n
