    Update,
Got a new pot and installed. Didn’t totally fix my issue, although it did happen much less frequently. I think I will take it in to see what codes are actually showing, and go from there.
On a side note, it seemed to get progressively worse as the 2 days went on. I’m actually wondering if possible the whole throttle linkage mechanism just gets looser and more out of wack as time goes on. The excess play then sends bad signals ect.
Anyone have to replace their mechanical assembly to fix the issue?

I have the same early version without the lock screw and had the same issue. I had to re-calibrate the new pot a few times. As Boone said, make sure the nuts are tight and recheck the voltage. I would try that before dropping the boat off. I took the multimeter to the lake with me and reached behind the panel to adjust it. Since I got the new one dialed in, I haven’t had an issue.

If it is going into limp mode while underway, there might be something else going on besides the pot. Call marine power. Typically the pot issues only apply when throttling up off idle.
