Anyone ever add pulleys/bigger cables to allow their boat lifts to hold more weight? Currently have a 5000# cantilever lift. Moving up to RZX2 so would want 6000# or 7000#. I've got a direct drive winch that can handle the weight no problem. I really don't want to spend the $10,000 or more on a new lift though. Theoretically, if I add another pulley and run the cable back again, I should be doubling my capacity, but wanted to see if anyone here had done it firsthand.
