Very cool video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtgyfOSXmsg. The "tabs" look like GSA, which would explain the "GO" system described in the video. I can't help but wonder if all of the Tige boats going forward will use the same system?

I suppose since they showed the actuator we can talk about it. I think it's going to be a game changer. Parker electro hydraulic. Has it's own electric motor that uses hydraulics to do the work. Basically you classic trim pump and stern drive ram all in one unit for guys that had I/Os. As far as I know they do have a sender so they know where they live in the real world so it's going to remove a lot of the guess work out of the current system, hence the "push a button and go" claims....I think.
Super excited about it, that's for sure. Cant wait for the Bu guys to say they did it first because they started using Parker first.
looks like a very nice boat and the trend continues with more and more electronics and add-on's. tige.com lists base msrp at 146k so hopefully the r23 doesn't disappear too soon wish we had a dealer here to see/touch/feel one but probably good we don't since pricing won't have one in my garage in the immediate future.
I would call out tho that they list in the video as the "unprecedented surf locker". definition of unprecedented is never done or know. several other tiges have this, go back in time to the old dd slalom boats and you will find a couple models with that same rear storage locker along with countless I/O's and yachts. probably not the best choice of words... maybe cavernous instead. new purchasers won't worry about it but as these boats filter into the hands of the dyi guys, I wonder if the rear locker wall dividing the engine is removable. that would sure make belt/impeller changes easier if you could access the front of the engine from that locker.
I'm one of the lucky few that have been in this boat, it performs amazing. The new Go-Surf system is super easy to use which will make dialing in your wave simple.
A lot of new upgrades and options coming as well, but I won't spill all the beans!
Dang, sounds pretty killer, especially after dealing with my actuators failing, and just counting trips until it happens again. Hopefully there will be a way to retrofit them on to older boats by then.
I’ll be able to crawl all over this thing tomorrow evening, Thursday and Friday morning, and I can’t wait. My only concern is this boat making me want to trade in my ZX1 for one lol. I’ll be bringing my ZX1 along so I’ll have a good comparison. Maybe I can just upgrade my Taps3 to the new style.

You will see a slight diff in wave shape, but really its functionality.
The 20s have some neat stuff that you guys will see that goes beyond the software. The new Tower switch location, the keyless ignition just to name a few. Really really neat stuff on the way.

Haha thats what I am afraid of. Was hoping I wouldn’t want to upgrade so soon, but with a 3rd child on the way, why not go a little bigger? At least that’s some of the reasoning I’ll use if I decide to lol.
I know this is petty, but why is Tige's branding team so messed up? First we re-label the Z series to be R series. Then we name the ZX3 to the 23ZX. They seem to be scatter brained. I also wish they would discover the other 23 letters in the alphabet. Maybe they are still gun shy since the ASR??
Johnnie, this is probably a rumor but I heard something about MasterCraft claiming they own The letter X with numbers after it(X24, X46 etc). If that is the case it would explain why this ended up the 23ZX instead of a ZX3. I am looking forward to our first load of 2020s coming shortly. Thinking the R23 needs a lake test
MC threatened legal action to Tige for the use of a number after the letter "X". Its a change, but it'll catch on quick. They will "rebrand" the call out across the ZX and RZX lines. It'll be just fine....
