    87- Blue/black strip (transom lights)

I power the relay to battery and ground, and just cut the 12v+ going to the lights and put the relay inline.

Or will that still overload the current?

30- to battery: Yes, but indirectly. No need to run this all the way to the battery or switch. The helm BUS is the "battery" supply. 30 connects to 87 with you switch the lights on.

85 and 86 are the coil controls. Need to switched B+ to one and ground to the other in your case. Use the TT's UnderH2O switched output lead.

Right, I was saying “battery” generically, not specifically. I got it.. the wire to the touch screen is the trigger, the output to the lights is powered by the battery, instead of the touch screen, so it isn’t overloading, and the ground is to ground the coil, so the relay can work. Makes sense, thanks for the walk through!

Always happy to talk some Lahontan!! Tried to camp last weekend, there’s so little beach, and so many people, my boy went out on Thursday, cruises beaches for 4 hours, the drove home. The rangers were turning people away by Saturday morning.

We ended up day-tripping on Sunday, and she’s definitely full!! Water is over 70°, already. I figured I’d see you last weekend or this one. We have a huge camp on 11, for the next 10 days. Roasting a pig in the ground on Saturday. I won’t be out until Friday, and then work is going to drag me away, but it should be a killer weekend!!

The Bay Area can wait, brotha!!

You’re telling me!! I was pretty damn confused when I could only get one to work, originally!!

I don’t know what the hell happened to the thumb drive it’s on. I need to stick it on another one, and get it loaded. I’ll do that tonight or tomorrow am.

Damn, love me some ground roasted pig. Pump that thing full of beer and soy sauce and bury it! I miss Pig-N-Pitch. If I didn’t have to go to the city this weekend I would for sure be out there. The wife has family coming up from Australia so, I’m definitely stuck going down there. NASCAR weekend down there too. Of course I’ll be up in Marin.

I just got back from a week at Shasta. Crazy full too. All the way up to the trees. So much debris though. I can’t believe I did destroy a prop.

We may have too many cooks in the kitchen, couple of different theories on how it’s done, so we’ll see how it goes!![emoji1694][emoji1694]then again, I can eat about any version or pork!!

Haha!! Guess there’s no getting out of that one!! Good news is Australians are generally pretty fun!!

We went to Rollins a couple of weeks ago, and it was exactly the same.. had to dive under to clean the prop out 3 times, and actually did get a small ding in the prop, but It isn’t seeming to affect it. I’ll get it massaged, but probably not until the end of the season, unless it affects something..

I’ll be back out in a few weeks, we’ll tie in for some beers!!

I’ll for sure be out the following weekend. Plenty of time this year out there. We’ll be hooking up sooner or later. I’m hoping Plake will set up the slalom course this year. I talked to him a few weeks ago and I think I got him at least heavily considering it. It’s a giant amount of work though.

I’m at tahoe for work the next couple of weekends.. I’ll probably take the boat up there for 4th and celebrity golf, then be back to lahontan, after that weekend, so we’ll definitely catch up.

He has plenty of labor, out there for the next 10 days, and some guys that are into the old single stick, so it’s definitely a possibility. Plus he doesn’t shy away from putting in time and effort!! The lake should be pretty full for a good chunk of the summer, so this is the one to do it!!

Ya, they are definitely the hardcore firestick crew out there. He’s also talking about about putting his other flat (the red one) back on the water this year.
