I will get it to you. Its pinned on my desktop because that screen basically has a "final version" of software unless they ever tweak it. Super sad part though, I'm guessing it still will have the lower current limit. Still that's easy to work around.

Should be in your inbox. Had to send it via Google Drive link because of size. Be sure to delete the other one off the USB before trying the update procedure

I really thought Zack had a '17. The '16 7" final software has the same 10amp circuit.
            Oh Yeah!

I’m just glad I’m not insane, I couldn’t figure out why I could load that software..

Is there any reason to update that final software, then??

Ok, relay and fuse it is. Where do I pull the power from??

You do a helluva job at keeping everyone on track!! I would be anywhere near where I am, without you, and a couple of other guys on here.

Id draw right off the large red B+ helm BUS supply cable for the relay's pin # 30.

^^Mike's on it as always. Hopefully Koolaid can tell us which PDM/plug/ and wire color will be pin 85. Then it's just ground pin 86. Run wire from 87 back to the lights and bingo, bang, bongo, you've got your underwater lights.

Koolaid would know better on software but I think some of the final updates for your screen addressed some BT audio issues. I'd say it wouldnt hurt having the final version on your screen. That way lin the future if you have issues the convo doesnt start with "what's your software version"

Maybe I’m picturing this relay wired different then. My head says:

                        30- to battery
                        85- ground
                        86- Blue/black stripe (TT2 side)
                        87- Blue/black strip (transom lights)

I power the relay to battery and ground, and just cut the 12v+ going to the lights and put the relay inline.

Or will that still overload the current?

I don’t think I ever got my BT working right, I just plug into the glovebox, so it doesn’t kill my battery anyways. I’ll just load it, and be done.

Ps, the new actuators worked perfectly. Something was definitely wrong with the old ones. So, at least something went according to plan!

30- Fused B+ Constant (sits there and waits to go across the switch in the relay to the lights.
                              85- Switched power from PDM
86- Constant ground This will cause the coil to energize when you turn lights on at the screen and close the switch from 87a to 87
87- Switched power that will get wired to the lights.

Glad to hear it surfs again

Perfect, I think I have it (not a promise I won’t be asking anymore dumb questions). Thanks again, you guys, I would definitely be losing my mind over this, by now! Once again this forum is a huge resource for owners! What the hell did we do before the Internet!!??!!!
