That is weird. Cant remember what the amp draw cutoff is for the PDMs, if each light is working the cutoff must be 10A or one of the lights is drawing too much. Going to be hard to confirm without an inductive amp clamp. If you have to you can wire up a relay with its own separate fused power then use the touch screen/PDMs to drive the relay. Have had to do this when adding a second heater to a Z3 in the past....
That’s max, both lights with all LEDs on, it’s most likely significantly lower than that. My only other thought was maybe the voltage is too low, from screwing with this stuff, and not being able to run the alternator, because I’m on the trailer.. i’m hooking both up, hoping that’s the case, and leaving a pigtail I can cut, to one ground, easily, if they won’t both work on the water.
I may have to ask you the best way to do that, next week, if my crossed fingers don’t work.
As always, thanks for the help brotha! I’ll keep you posted! And if you ever make it back to this area I owe you beers, lake time, or even better, both!!
Looks like the spectrum pulls 2x the power as the Seablaze3, which was what I knew was last on these boats, may have changed since last year. So maybe I am pulling too much current on there.

Dont threaten me with a good time. I may make it down at some point this summer. I am more bummed I didnt make it this winter. I worked for 7 years at Kirkwood and know how epic the skiing on years like last winter is.
If you decide to drive them off a relay there are plenty of guys that can walk you thru it and I am glad to help as well.

I know you did. Definitely would have been a great year to make it up. I got 2 new pairs of sticks, last year, and still haven’t put bindings on them. I’m sure when I finally do, we’ll be back in drought. My knees will thank me, though. I’ll be around a lot of the summer, so keep me posted, I’d love to give you the Lahontan tour, where we can hang with Nickypoo, as well!!
I had hopes for the low voltage until I saw they pull twice what the factory lights pull. Now I’m thinking I’ll be doing the relay, next week. Or just go hillbilly and throw them on a rocker for the rest of the summer!!
Sure hope their TTP setup plays nice with the Tige Touch. Ive heard of them working well on other boats with touch screen helms.

I would think it would work fine. It’s just a momentary on and off.. I’ll let you know, whether it’s one light, or 2, after the weekend.. think my entire problem is the power draw, which there are ways around.

You need to update your software to 2019 on the screen. The value was changed to 20amps.
If the file isnt showing up when you touch "update" in settings screen theres likely another USB port on the harness coming out of the back of the screen you will need to plug into.
There is typically a somewhat out of sight USB thats for updates. The in plain sight USB is audio.
