    2016 R22 input

We're thinking about a 2016 R22 that has been for sale for a bit now and they keep dropping the price. But I don't know a lot about them so wanted to see what every ones thoughts were on them. It has the 360 in it, were only at 500ft so should be ok I would think with the correct prop. Thanks in advance.

when we were shopping last year had I found a deal on an r22 I would have taken it in a heartbeat. z3 is a great boat but I do miss my old 22ve. that 22ft size was perfect. iirc the r22 has the pickle front bow so basically it's an rz2.
    2012 22ve.. RIP 4/17
    2014 Z3.. Surf away

Sandm that’s exactly what I was hoping to here. I love the pickle bows, just adds that much more room vs my V bow. Hopefully it checks out and I can work something out with the dealer. Then it will be getting my current boat sold, which will be a bitter sweet day as it’s been a great boat.

Theres a bunch of 16s that didnt have any taps3 issues. Theres also some that had the issue where the plates would cam over and trip the PDM overcurrent. I would make sure this 16 isnt one of those. Really if it was me Id see if they would retro you from platform mounted actuators to the newest version of taps3. Only problem is its going to cost someone some $ as warranty wont cover the retro. Have seen a rare case or two that got covered under warranty because the plates would cam over and bend/break the stops that try to keep the plates moving down...

Good luck on scoring a great deal on a holdover!!

Well that was a flop. Dealer is about 1hr away from me so had him send me more pictures. I find it pretty sad that my 22 year old boat is in better shape than a 3 yr old boat. We'll keep looking if not probably ordering a boat in the fall. Don't shoot me as we'll end up swapping brands more do to price than anything else.
