Turkey Day Boating?

So who is going out on the boat Turkey day? I am taking the boat for its maiden voyage on Thursday morning. Anyone else going boating or boarding?

The one great thing about So Cal is you can boat nearly year around. Afew years back we went out all morning the day of the Superbowl had lunch and a few beers then headed back for the game.

Lake Elsinore. I will end up there Thursday thru Sunday. I want to get the engine broken in and my first service out of the way. Plus I want to start pulling people. Stereo will not be hooked up until Dec 1st. I will just be using my portable I-Pod player until then.

No I don't take possession until Wed this week. Which was fine with me, because football was still in season, but now that the season is over it is boating time!

I will be going out on Friday and Maybe Sunday in Lake Havasu. Weather is high 70's with water 73 degrees on the south end of the lake. Lake Mead said the water temp was 74 but turned out to be 62 for our get together 2 weeks ago. This is a true 73 as measured in my friends boat today. Should be a great weekend

I love the river at Thanksgiving time. Normally we have a game the day after thanksgiving so I never get to go out. I called for reservations (Park Moabi) and they are sold out. The last time we went out was 3 years ago and it was not even close to being sold out. I am jealous that I can't be out at the river. Maybe we can make the parade of lights this year. Do you know when it is?

My boat is put away for the winter, but there is a good chance I will be taking my canoe out on Table Rock. I'm thinking of taking some pictures of the lake @ sunrise/sunset. Gonna be pretty cold though....

I would love to be looking @ a frozen lake all weekend, we have had 3+ " of rain in the last 24Hrs and it's not done yet.
