No, on the right side where the location, post's and join date is.

The new post button was already there before. It was just on the right side of the screen before and a little less noticeable. I use it every time.

What time is on the posts? It looks like it must be the current time in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. Currently it is 8:47 MST.

You need to set your Date & Time options in your User Control Panel.
