Forum Updates/Enhancements

All,

As you have already noticed the forums have undergone a drastic update with new enhancements and features. The forums will continue to undergo new changes, specifically a new design. The current design is only temporarily so please bear with me while this forum continues to be updated.

You may need to change your forum time display in your Control Panel. Other than that you should have no errors operating the forum as usual.

If you do have any problems with posting, replying or attaching images please send me an email notifying me of where the error occurred, ie "Can not post a new thread under the Tige Events Category, get the error..." This will help me identify the problem and quickly fix the issue.

Due to a cookie conflict in the forums you may not be able to login to post photos in the "Galleries" section. This is temporary and will be fixed shortly.

If you have any specific questions about some of the new features or need some help on the forum feel free to ask.

I made the purchase to an owned licensed when I first started TigeOwners.com. I also just renewed my license so I can continue to update with the latest versions.

Also, one feature that most, if not all you members will like is that you can now add multiple attachments to one post instead of only one image per post.

I'm pretty sure its gonna change back to a "tigeowners.com" look soon. This is a default vBulliten template, same as about 50000000000000+ other forums out there.

I am anxious to see the new design when it gets here myself. I hope there are plans to add in a "quick post" section to the thread view.

What happened to the galleries?

Usually in forums and galleries, the gallery is a seperate application. Mods are made to them to allow the usage of the forum logins. My guess is that the new version of vBulletin being installed, Matt still needs to make the modification to allow the gallery to use the session cookie to allow the autologging in of the members. By the looks of the error messages I just saw, I would say that is correct.

You are correct sir. There are plans to have an AJAX quick post which will be on the next upgrade sometime this week or next.
