2008 Tige Z! Proper Engine Running Temp

Hey Guys!
I was on the lake today, and I noticed my engine was only getting to about 140 degrees. I thought it usually runs warmer than that.... I just replaced a thermostat in my Aunt's boat that wasn't getting above 110 degrees. The thermostat was stuck open.... Her boat had a Mercruiser 5.0 (305) and called for a 160 Thermostat. I can't find a definitive answer online for my engine, and I was hoping someone on here could help... I know that an engine that is not running at the temperature that it is supposed to is bad.....Hot or Cold....

Average should be around 160-165 once warm.

Editing as I'm forgetting you don't have a PCM 343 in the 08. Above is normal for PCM. Can't confirm on the older.
