    Who makes the towers

On all of the new model boats? Is it regional and if so who makes the ones for So. Cal.

    Thanks in advance.

Tige makes their own towers but your dealers sometimes carries different brands. Tige Watersports in Corona uses Xplosion towers. I have one on my 22v and I love it.

I am getting an Xplosion added to my 2000 2300V right now and I am stoked to get it back. They are awesome towers!

I believe the Z series towers are made by XTP and the E series towers are made at the factory.

Xplosion are made in So Cal and are very nice towers. The E tower by Tige is in house. I would have ordered a Xplosion if they had a viable swivel rack option. The new E tower, I should say they they modified it, is very nice and I really like many of the items they improved. Their is another thread that has some pics and info on the Sampson tower that is on some boats in the Northwest and Canada which are very nice.

As I have been told, Tige no longer makes any of their own towers.

XTP currently makes some towers for them now, and will probably be doing the rest in the future.

If you look at the Tige.com website, you will see a different aft leg on the 24ve than on several others. If the tower has this aft leg, it's made by XTP.

The 24ve that is on tige.com does have the new Z tower on it but Tigé is still making the E tower in house.

                How do you know this?
I did think it was rather odd when I heard that they were not making ANY towers anymore...cause they have to be coming from somewhere.

Also, why do you call them the Z tower and the E tower?

I found them on the website. I still wonder if there's some significance in the letters, or if they just picked them out without any specific reason.

How do you guys like the Z vs the E towers? Any known issues with either?

I have the Z series tower and absolutely love it. I only have about 30 hours but have no issues with it. Very sturdy even with four boards loaded on it.

It's early morning, and maybe I'm confused from the lack of sleep...

XTP does make the RZ2, and at least two of the other towers. I can check into it a bit more specifically and find out...

but either way, that alone says that XTP makes the Z and at least two of the E towers, correct?

XTP makes the Z series tower and Tigé makes the E series tower. XTP makes towers for other boat companies.

So are you saying that XTP only makes one tower, and that's for the RZ2?

XTP makes three different towers for Tige...they're not all the same.
