    New Decking Installed!

Not sure how many of you are also on the Facebook page so I thought I would post these here as well.

Got out for the first day of the year on Saturday and was also able to get some pictures of the Ultradeck ( https://www.ultradeck.ca/) that I had recently installed. Came out great and plan on adding a few other pieces in the future. There was one minor change that we found out about so I had to have the walkway piece redone. Apparently at some point Tige changed the hatch handle location from being of center to centered. I just sent the noted dimension changes to Ultradeck and they shipped me out a replacement piece free of charge.

I ordered from here after seeing another member posting some pictures of the work he had done on his Tige. Also, a local Canadian company so it was easier than trying to get across the line (Gatorstep/Seadek) and with our shitty exchange it worked out to be the same $ wise. Andrew at Ultradeck already had a template for the 22ve but it's from a 2010 or newer as he also has the floor kit. I modified the bow pad as I didn't like what they had. Other minor change I made was to get the bow pad in black to match the black bow and splitting the swim platform pad for the older era.

Adding all the decking has really updated the look of the boat and will make the back bench a lot less slippery especially when listed over.

With the updates I've also removed the original metal trim piece at the bottom lip of the platform as the rivets were getting loose and did a great job of pulling out chest hair. Was going to repaint it and rivet back on but have since decided to add some rubber edge trim instead that will help clean it up.

This is the original template I was sent and a picture of the 22ve that got it.

Looks awesome! nice work. Do you have to pull up the carpet? If you do, was that a pretty time consuming effort? Been thinking about doing something like this to my 22ve

I haven't done the inside. I'd like too at some point however. Biggest issues I've seen so far is the metal frame on the floor that holds the cover over the gas tank which is higher than the rest of the floor.

Thanks for posting, and noting it was a Canadian supplier. Very cool.

For the record, your swim platform looks a lot better than the other boat pictured.

I also got the idea for Gatorstep on my BOW for safety reasons.
