    Underwater Lights Install (help)

    Happy Monday everybody!

Does anyone have experience with installing underwater lights integrated with the TT? I see the black and blue wire in the engine compartment, but when i connected the lights to it and turned the U/W H2O lights from the TT - nothing happened... I'm not sure if there's anything else I'll need to do to make this work.

Id first test that there is voltage across the blue and black wires when the lights are activated. 2nd, are you sure the UWH20 is active? I think at some point, Tige ghosted the switch if they were not installed at the factory, and it needs to be activated in dealer mode. If its active and no voltage, then find fuse/breaker and test again there.

      Hey chpthril!

thanks for the reply... yes it's active - was able to input the dealer code under system settings... if it's not active it won't show... I don't have a voltmeter but i do believe it's a fuse/breaker issue. Coming from a MC, i don't know where Tige has them located (I'd imagine it would be under the helm) is it labeled UWH2O?

As a side thought, anyone who owns a boat will eventually need a voltmeter. It can save you a trip to the dealer. They have cheapo ones for free at harbor freight pretty often. Something like $5 if you miss the right time.
        Be excellent to one another.

Other possibility.... LEDs are polarity sensitive. Wires possibly hooked up backwards??

I know we all shop there, but I didn't know anyone ever admitted to it.

Just an FYI for HF customers. Go to hfqpdb dot com. They have digital coupons of all of the coupons over the nation. I get the guys around the shop free tape measures all the time lol! I did to the free meters for a bit but I think we have all had one too many of them. I bet i have two at the house still in the package...
