Had the honor of meeting Freeheel4life in person today, along with one of his other guys. They were in town for Ilmor training and stopped by the shop this afternoon. After I took my "assistants" to the house for their dinner, wife and I met them at a local pub for some dinner, drinks and stories.

Dude! It was my pleasure to come down and get to meet you, your dedicated "assistants" and your wife. When I looked at the map and realized I was so close for training it became a must. Im all about meeting good people and youve helped me out here on TO so always great to put faces to names.

Ilmor requires a re-cert every 2 years to maintain our "Gold Level" dealer status so hopefully I will catch yall again in 2021. With the spring green up and trees blossoming I had a hard time not gawking while driving! Flying back into the white ribbons receding towards the ridges as the reservoirs fill up.

Hope your season is great!! I know in the past you mentioned being a race fan. They had a couple ARCA engines there for rebuild and some ready to go back out. Pretty cool stuff.
