@sandm, I will let you know.
I have a friend with GSA on Malibu 247 and it works great. I am sure it would work well on my boat too, but am willing to risk a new system with less tech, for a lot less money cause I believe the tabs will work.
I researched InfinityWave and if I had to compare the tabs to anything on market, they are similar to the 2019 Supreme 238, also a deep V...its a new design they just put out this year too and it was to improve their design on previous year models.
I have heard that GSA is better on flatter bottom boats than deep V, guess I cant personally confirm that except to say it is excellent on that Malibu and haven't personally been behind a GSA system on a deep V. I do know a couple people that have talked on the forums about having a little trouble dialing GSA on their deep V.
Owner of InfinityWave, put it on his SV230 and seems to work very well and I have a good chunk of ballast in my boat, so I imagine it will do well.
Not having this system as simple as "push button auto" is not a downside to me. Not only cause it saves a good deal of money but also cause wave will be very adjustable. I can also easily add Lenco buttons with indicators if I want to know exactly where the tab is at (they do offer an upgrade for that switch) or I could potentially figure out a way to program a system that IS auto. I have friends, lol.
In meantime, I am gonna install, dial the wave, enjoy my "Manuel switches" and have a blast this summer no matter what happens. Life is good when you have a boat!!
