E2 Tower Question

Is it ok to lower the tower halfway and leave it there or could it cause harm to the tower by leaving it in a position other than all the way up or all the way down. (Reason behind the question, I’m in a garage and don’t have the clearance to raise it all the way up, but would like it up some and out of my way)

If ur concerned about it. You could add a support strap from the tower to the ceiling
